Garner Outstanding Teen 2007 - Arlie Honeycutt

Fourteen year old Arlie Honeycutt is the daughter of Beth and Scott Honeycutt, as well as the older sister to Jackson Honeycutt. Arlie is a freshman at William G. Enloe Magnet High School.

Arlie is an avid singer and actress. She has been acting and singing since the age of three. As a matter of fact, her platform is "Arts For All" and is involved in promoting various mediums of art for all ages. Arlie also loves to read, sew, shop, and spend time with her friends and family.

Arlie is thrilled about having the opportunity to represent the town she has lived in all her life as Miss Garner Outstanding Teen 2007.

 

In 2005, Arlie participated in the performance celebrating the 100th Birthday of the town of Garner.

• Encourage younger, active involvement in the Miss North Carolina Scholarship Pageant
• Provide forum for personal growth
• Mentor using positive role models
• Have Fun!

The Miss Garner Outstanding Teen Pageant invites young women between the ages of 13-17 who are not yet a senior to become a contestant in 2008 Pageant to be held on Saturday, November 3, 2007.

Participation in the Miss Garner Outstanding Teen program provides a unique opportunity for young ladies to gain valuable pageant experience as well as life skills. The competition is intended to encourage and reward scholastic achievement, communication skills, talent, and community service.  This Preliminary is open to Residents of Wake, Johnston, Orange, Durham, Vance & Franklin counties.  Contestants must be a legal resident or a full time student in one of the counties for at least 6 months. All rehearsals are mandatory and will begin September 30.

Entry Fee: $100.00
The areas of competition include:
Private interview, talent presentation, evening gown, and physical fitness.

The winner will receive a crown, trophy, $200.00 Savings Bond, and her competition entry fees paid for her to compete for the Miss North Carolina Outstanding Teen Title in June 2008. The Miss North Carolina Outstanding Teen will then go on to compete for the national title of Miss America Outstanding Teen in Orlando, Florida in August 2008.(all fees paid by Miss North Carolina Pageant)
