The 2006 Carolina Princesses :

Hannah Messick -
Carolina Princess to Miss Wake County Outstanding Teen, Christian Reed

Hannah Messick is the 10 year old daughter of Randy and Lisa Messick of Clayton. She is a 4th grader at St. Timothy’s School in Raleigh.

Hannah enjoys all her subjects, especially Math, Spelling, and Physical Education. She is very active in sports. Last year she won a Presidential Fitness Award through her school. Hannah has been a dancer since the age of 3. She is a student a Turning Pointe Dance Studio in Clayton, where she takes ballet, tap, and jazz. She was named the studio’s “Student of the Year” in 2004. She was added to the studio’s national award winning competition dance team at the age of 7 years old.

When Hannah isn’t concentrating on her school work or working on a new dance, she enjoys spending time with her sisters, Sarah and Rebekah. She especially enjoys riding Go-Carts and dirt bikes with Sarah and her dad.

Hannah is proud and honored to have been chosen as Wake County’s Carolina Princess and she enjoys helping to promote the Miss North Carolina and the Miss America Organizations by traveling the state with her queen, Wake County’s Outstanding Teen Christian Reed.

Hannah Faison -
Carolina Princess to Garner's Outstanding Teen, Arlie Honeycutt
Hannah Faison is the 8 year old daughter of Kasey and Brian Faison. She is a rising third grade student at West Clayton Elementary school.

Hannah, a frequent "Student of the Month" winner, loves school and especially Spelling and Reading.  She spends many hours a week dancing at her mom's dance studio, Turning Pointe, in Clayton, where she takes jazz, ballet, tap and hip hop. She is also a member of the award-winning junior dance competition team.

When she is not dancing, she loves to read novels, go swimming, and ride bikes/go-carts/or electric scooters!

Since being chosen as Cassia Lewis' (Garner's Outstanding Teen) Carolina Princess, Hannah has been very active with the Miss Garner Committee and many pageant activities. After attending Brooke's wardrobe showing, Hannah made her first airplane trip to Las Vegas earlier this year to go to the Miss America Pageant with her mom, grandma, Miss Samantha and Miss Arlene. She has visited lots of Miss NC/NCOT preliminaries, helped the Miss Garner Committee at Relay for Life, at their BBQ Fundraiser, and at Senior Day. She is very excited to be a Carolina Princess this year for Cassia, and feels like she is the luckiest girl alive to have inherited several new "Sisters" - Allison, Cassia, Elizabeth, Christian, and KerriAnn and a new uncle, "Mr. Brad"!
