General Information & Application Forms

We are a preliminary pageant associated with the North Carolina Outstanding Little Miss Pageant. Title winners (Individual Division Titles and Majestic Titles) of this pageant will have the opportunity to advance to the North Carolina Outstanding Little Miss Pageant that will be held in July 2012.

There will be one winner crowned in each age division with possibly 1st and/or 2nd runner-up in each group. The winner will be the contestant with the highest combined points in their phases of competition.

Divisions

We will not draw contestant numbers. Numbers will be assigned by the order completed applications are received.

Phases of Competition

Beauty:
Required of all divisions. Appropriate attire for Beauty Competition is a dress that is simple, elegant, and age appropriate. Dresses for all contestants should be floor length gowns. No gloves. There are many web sites that offer beautiful gowns at very affordable prices.

Fitness:
Required of all divisions. Attire will consist of the MGOLM t-shirt, white Soffe shorts, socks, and tennis shoes. T-shirts may be decorated (not cut) to show off your personality. No hats or sunglasses.

Private Interview:
Required for Little, Junior, Preteen, and Young divisions. Attire for interview should be “off the rack”. Sunday or party dresses are acceptable. This will be a stand up interview. Questions will be based on the contestant questionnaire.
Time Limit: 6 minutes for Little and 8 minutes for Junior, Preteen, and Young.

Photogenic:
This is an option category for all divisions (however, required for a Majestic title). There will be an overall photogenic winner. (Photogenic scores are not added into division title scores.)

Talent:
This is an optional category for Petite and Little divisions (however, required for a Majestic title). Talent time limit is 2 minutes. Talent is required for Junior, Preteen, and Young Divisions. There will be an overall talent winner.

Program Book Ads:
All contestants are required to sell at minimum if 1 ad page for the program book. And, they are required to participate in admission ticket Pre-sales.

2011 Garner's Outstanding
Little Miss Mini Majestic:
Hayden Pearson

Hayden is the 4 year old daughter of Greg and Jennifer Pearson. She lives with her parents, big brother, Austin, and her dog, Evan. She is currently in her second year of tap and ballet, and first year of gymnastics. She is scheduled to compete with her dance team in March 2011.

Hayden began competing in pageants when she was 6 months old. She has held titles with Princess of North Carolina, Southern Elegance Charm pageants. She was Little Miss Baby Doll NC 2008-09. Hayden currently has over 52 hours of community service hours.

Her community service includes visiting the Durham VA Hospital and local nursing homes. She has been an active fundraiser for the Oxford Children's Home, Victory Junction, and Children's Miracle Network. Hayden loves being in pageants, getting to dress up in beautiful dresses and wearing makeup. She also loves spending time with her sister queens while making appearances and participating in fundraisers.  


2011 Garner's Outstanding
Little Miss Majestic:
Alania Michelle Crosier

Alania Michelle Crosier is the daughter of David and Angela Crosier. She lives in Selma with her family and their pets.

Alania is ten years old and in the fifth grade at Neuse Charter School, where she is on the Honor Roll - Directors List. She also participates on a Odyssy Of The Mind team at her school.

Alania loves to read. She volunteers thirty minutes every day at school reading to a kindergarten class.

Alania also enjoys dancing and doing gymnastics. She loves to perform for people. Alania likes spending her free time at home with her family and friends, just playing outside and riding her bike.

She is honored to have been chosen as the first Miss Garners Outstanding Little Miss Majestic Queen, and is looking forward to a fun year.
